Entrance Gates
Close boarded entrance gates usually come in pairs and may be manufactured in kiln dried redwood or dry oak.
Flooring grade 150mm x 20mm tongue and grooved boards are rebated into a 70mm section frame which is braced on the back face for strength. The boards may have a "V" groove or pencil bead for decoration.
The top rail of the gates can be straight, rise or fall to the centre or follow a "gunstock" pattern.

Whatever style of entrance gates you choose it is important they meet in the middle! So we recommend fitting them with adjustable band hinges.
